Dissertation: Opening opportunities for Social Impact Bonds in France
Date: July 2015
This dissertation was developed by Lou Salomon, under the supervision of Patrick Legland, from Institut Européen de Commerce et de Gestion, in France. It aims at introducing the concept of Social Impact Bonds, at providing concrete examples from across continental Europe and at fostering discussions among key stakeholders.
Lou conducted a deep literature review on the concept of Social Impact Bonds. The author interviewed several SIB practitionners across continental Europe, including the Laboratório de Investimento Social’s team, to collect relevant insights and experiences and to identify key challenges and lessons from on-going projects.
Laboratório de Investimento Social thanks Lou Salomon for the opportunity to contribute to this research and congratulates her for the excellent piece of work.
