What is the SIB Research Programme?

The SIB Research Programme is a project that aims to develop feasibility studies on the application of Social Impact Bonds, both national and internationally. The programme is targeted towards students and professionals looking to add their contribution to the research being developed in this field.

This project was launched in January 2015, and counted already with three editions. Since its start, the SIB Research Programme has worked with eleven master students developing research projects across several important and globally relevant social issues, such as youth employability and type II diabetes.

With a 6-month duration, participants have access to a structured training plan spanning several fields. From financial modelling tailored for SIBs to database methodologies, each module will provide researchers with the hard and soft skills required throughout the programme, resulting in a smooth transition to the job market by transferring management, financial and social innovation skills to its participants.
